Ali
Ali was born in 1973, London, England. Married.
He originally started out playing the saz, but focused his attention on the violin at the age of 14.
He began his musical career at the age of 12 by playing for various folkdancing organisations in London and joined Hatiralar when it was formed in 1988.
Ali had a famous grandfather, Mehmet Ali, who was a top violinist in Cyprus having released many records and Ali still uses a violin given to him by his grandfather.
Ali began giving music lessons 5 years ago, however due to work and family commitments he has had to put this to one side.
Ali is recognised today as an exceptional violinist.
